This is a highly textured painting of the stairwell of SS United States, America's Flagship. This stairwell is by the indoor swimming pool and near the engine room, so it used to get very hot and noisy. The ship was berthed across from the Ikea in South Philadelphia, but is being sunk as the world's largest artificial reef off the coast of Okaloosa County, Florida.
