"Come on in, the water's fine!" SS United States Pool

This original oil painting of the SS United States shows two views of her swimming pool. The top of the painting is what the pool looked while the ship was in service. The colorful flags say, "Come on in, the water's fine!" The bottom of the painting is what the ship looked like when she was docked in Philadelphia, after her interior had been stripped. When the ship becomes the world's largest artificial reef off the coast of Destin, Florida in Okaloosa County, the pool will be refilled in a different manner.
