This stoneware sculpture inspired by the coast of Maine is designed to be touched and has lots of interesting textural variation from intricately carved rock faces to slickly glazed watery areas. Contrasting colors of clay are combined and carved to reveal strata of striped layers reminiscent of the geological processes that shaped this landscape.
