In the winter, the crew of the tall ship Gazela remove the masts and spars for repairs and cover the deck with a greenhouse-like cover, adding another variety of odd shapes and colors to the scene. The transom and rudder of the Gazela join with the wall of Penn's Landing to frame the water in the Delaware River.
