Ralph Lewis and Brooke Lanier in International Computer Music Conference in Ireland
A sound piece about my recent paintings that composer Ralph Lewis and I have collaborated on has been accepted into the International Computer Music Conference through the University of Limerick, Ireland. Inspired by the standing wave that forms in the River Shannon in Limerick City – the ever moving yet ever present body of water that acts as the spine of UL campus, the sound pieces included explore the countless waves that oscillates in time but remain strangely steady in space. The event will take place in hybrid format, online and in person, July 3-9. To learn more, visit https://icmc2022.org/
