Updated: Oct 19, 2021

Visit the benefit's online store starting September 30th.

Thursday, October 7th to Friday, November 19th at 990 Spring Garden one of my 24” x 24” paintings, “Harbor Composition (Gate),” will be featured in a benefit exhibition curated by Bridgette Mayer. A percentage of proceeds from this exhibition will go directly to the nonprofits Tools for School and EducationWorks and will be used to purchase school supplies and provide academic support, career readiness, and enrichment programming for students of all ages in the Philadelphia area.

This year, the show includes over 200 curated established and up-and-coming artists from the Philadelphia area and beyond, working in many different styles, techniques, and media. These panels will be sold for $500.00 for a 10 x 10-inch panel and $1,000.00 for a 24 x 24-inch panel. Some of the artworks in this exhibition retail anywhere from $2500.00 to $20,000.00, making this an invaluable opportunity for both long-time and new collectors to purchase original art at affordable prices.

Sunday October 17, 2021 noon – 6pm I will be participating in Philadelphia Open Studio Tours.

Come see what I’ve been making! I’ve been hard at work on a new series of paintings and would love to invite you to see them during Philadelphia Open Studio Tours. My new paintings are inspired by ships and architecture along the nearby Delaware River, and I use a variety of interesting layering techniques and non-brush application implements that I would be happy to show you.

Each October, POST activities span twenty unique Philadelphia neighborhoods and highlight the creative workspaces of nearly 300 artists and community partners. Great for all ages, POST provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse of visual artists at work through an approachable, self-guided, and easy-to-navigate tour. No other program in or around Philadelphia consistently brings such an intimate and diverse cultural experience to the community free of charge and across such a large geographic area. The dates are as follows for each quadrant of the city:

Out of town? Visit online!

Join POST artists for an evening online, Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, 5-8 PM (EST).

POST: Online will be a one-night-only event, held on the virtual video the conferencing platform, Remo.

During the event, artists will be able to virtually open their studios and chat with visitors. Each artist will have their own “table,” a distinctive meeting room, where visitors can stop in and meet the artist, ask questions, or listen to an artist’s talk or demonstration.
