Summer Studio Art Party

Put on your brightest clothes and your favorite hat and come to my Summer Studio Art Party! I’ll be hanging a selection of my latest boat paintings, as well as some seasonally appropriate watercolors inspired by my favorite beaches, lakes, and rivers. We will have Fla-Vor-Ice Pops, sidewalk chalk, and supplies for making paper hats if you don’t have a party-worthy hat.

I’ve realized that with my increasingly odd visual impairment I see better when I’m wearing a hat, so there’s no reason I should be the only one at these art events looking fabulous. I wrote a new blog with video and overpainted photos that illustrate how certain angles of light decrease my ability to see contrast and color. Take a look!
