About the event
I have 6 new oil paintings and a series of ceramics to share with you, alongside a selection of art that has been in storage for years. One of the pieces is a large painting that I made during the pandemic, so few people have ever seen it. I was surprised by the way it converses with my current work. There are new paintings of off-limits areas of the SS United States, landscapes of the rocky coasts of Maine, and tactile ceramics that dialogue with the paintings.
Here are examples of a couple of the new pairings.
This is a ceramic diorama that shows one of the berths of the SS United States on the opposite side of the walls in these paintings.
